I've never had any desire whatsoever to become a daredevil. Even in my current state as a 49-year-old adult, the thought of riding a roller coaster or skydiving out of a perfectly functioning plane doesn't spark any enthusiasm within me. The deadline is before my 50th birthday, as she herself didn't make it to that milestone.

It's curious to consider if it's appropriate or even sane to harbor ill feelings towards someone who's already departed from this world, but I can't deny the resentment that bubbles within me. Nevertheless, I wish to honor my friend's desires, and admittedly, the incentive of acquiring the beach house she's bestowed upon me is quite appealing too.
