Before Margaret Dane Clayton puts a "For Sale" sign in front of the only home she's ever known, she has one final wish. However, the question remains: can her family make her dream come true? Margaret has spent her entire life at the Dane Crown Inn, a beautiful resort situated in the serene beachside town of Emerald Bay. But, like its fiercely independent owner, the inn is now showing signs of aging. Margaret has always vowed to keep the inn's doors open, but after an accident that leaves her unable to cater to guests alone, she is forced to accept the reality that things must change.

In a daunting decision, Margaret turns to her daughter and nieces and asks them to fulfill her final wish before she puts the property up for sale. The question is whether these five women will put their busy lives on hold to grant her request. These cousins, just like Margaret, know the inn like the back of their hands. During their childhood and teenage years, they spent every summer meticulously maintaining the cottages and suites, while also enjoying the beautiful beach as a close-knit family. However, now, three decades later, their lives have become complicated, important, distant, and completely packed. Dropping everything to save the inn seems impossible for any of them. Yet, when it comes to family, the last thing can often be the most important thing.

Each cousin arrives in Emerald Bay, burdened with excuses and carrying their own personal baggage. The mayor of the town, who is known for being grumpy yet incredibly handsome, poses a threat to the inn's future as he threatens to close it down for good. In order to save the resort from demise, the cousins agree to give the inn the much-needed overhaul it deserves. Even with a small budget and an endless stream of crises, Margaret's daughter and nieces work diligently, racing against time to fulfill her final wish. The ultimate question now is whether this fractured family can put aside their differences long enough to restore the inn and rebuild the close bond they once cherished.
